- Hi. I've been racing crabs since 1991 when Sonny started coming to Folkie's on Thursday nights. I was asked to DJ when he returned to weekly racing on Wednesdays in January of 2004. Our racing team, Chainsaw Sisters Racing is named for the Chainsaw Sisters Saloon, a bar in the wilderness along the Canadian border in Minnesota. The team was founded in 1992 and has raced continuously since then, including 4 years during the "Golden Age of Crab Racing" as well as the intervening "Lean Years" from 1996 thru 2003.
